Halstead Property announced the promotion of Richard J. Grossman to President.
Grossman will work closely with CEO Diane M. Ramirez and will continue to oversee the Village and SoHo offices together with Sara Rotter, Executive Director of Sales.
Grossman formerly served as the Executive Vice President, Senior Managing Director of Halstead Property where he cultivated a network of top producing agents.
Agents under his leadership have won numerous awards in the Real Estate Board of New York Deal of the Year awards.
In addition, Grossman mentored the agents that won Real Estate Board of New York’s coveted designation of the Rookie of the Year in 2008, 2011, 2012, and 2013.
During the course of his career, Grossman has been involved with the conversion of over 30 rental buildings to co-op or condo ownership.
Prior to joining Halstead Property, he was the Senior Vice President and Director of Sales for Heron Properties, where he was responsible for the creation of the sales division of one of New York’s most prestigious management firms.
Before Heron, he was the Director of Sales for Hahn & Mann Realty, Inc. and started his career at J.H. Taylor.
He is a graduate of Syracuse University and he received a Diploma in Real Estate Analysis from New York University.

Compass announced that Hamptons real estate veteran Joseph De Sane has joined the company as Senior Managing Director of Sales.
Drawing upon more than 16 years of real estate experience, De Sane will oversee sales operations at Compass’s Southampton office at 30 Nugent Street.
Previously, De Sane was a manager at Corcoran where he managed the North Fork, Shelter Island, Westhampton Beach, and Bridgehampton locations.
He was also named to NRT’s Presidents Council, honoring remarkable achievements in strength and leadership.
De Sane has experience in both property development and real estate sales and marketing. A graduate of Southampton College with a degree in the creative arts, De Sane is an accomplished actor and painter who is a fixture on the local arts scene.

Pauline Evans has joined Ward Wight Sotheby’s International Realty as a sales associate.
Evans has been involved in all aspects of real estate for well over 20 years.
She has participated in focus groups with local developers, helping them in the design process as well as amenities that will appeal to the local and international consumer.
Prior to joining Ward Wight Sotheby’s, Evans spent 10 years with Sotheby’s Upper East Side office and eight years with Brown Harris Stevens, both on the east and west side.
Having recently relocated to the Manasquan, Evans is now offering her service and expertise to clients on the Jersey Shore.
Recognizing that the Jersey Shore is a destination market for many Manhattanites, she will continue to maintain a close working relationship with her colleagues in the city in handling all referral opportunities.

The Corcoran Group announced that Sofia Falleroni has joined the firm’s flagship East Side office. Falleroni began her real estate career in her native Italy where she negotiated numerous international real estate transactions, including the rental and sale of luxury villas, before moving to New York in 2002.
She was previously associated with Town Residential.
Falleroni studied International Communications at the University of Perugia.
Holding the designation of Certified Negotiation Expert, Falleroni is a member of REBNY and FIABCI-USA, an international real estate federation with a presence in 60 countries.
She is fluent in English, Italian, French and Spanish and is pursuing an MBA in Real Estate Project Management.

Rutenberg Realty announce the hiring of six New York City real estate agents who have joined the firm.
Joaquin Pinkney, a native New Yorker, joins Rutenberg from Citi Habitats. He is a graduate of St. John’s University.
Alice Claudie Harari is a licensed real estate agent with more than 30 years of experience, previously working at City Connections Realty.
Chiu Mary Lee, originally from Taiwan, is a seasoned real estate broker, who joins Rutenberg from Kian Realthy NYC LLC. She also assists investors looking for
investment properties and serves as a property manager.
Elizabeth Exume joins Rutenberg with an extensive knowledge on homeownership, rental properties and interior design. She received her B.S. degree from Oneonta and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
Zee Sachdeva comes to Rutenberg from Manhattan Connection and assists clients whether they are renters, buyers or sellers.
Sandra Smith, a Montreal native, joins Rutenberg from Compass. Smith specializes in residential, investor, and foreign purchases.
