If you dislike sweaty palms, you might want to take the stairs. The owner of the tallest building in the United States west of the Mississippi River wants to tack a clear glass slide onto the skyscraper’s exterior.

In June, the “Skyslide” will open at the 73-floor US Bank Tower in Los Angeles. Visitors will be able to slide from the 70th to the 69th floor – some 45 feet – while looking 1,000 feet straight down, according to the New York Post.

Although fully enclosed, the glass slide will only be 1¼ inches thick. Visitors will need to purchase tickets to slide, which also earns them access to OUE Skyspace LA, an observation deck. [NYP] –Christopher Cameron
