Sugar Hill Capital Partners (SHCP) announced that a pop-up Filtered Coffee, a locally-run espresso bar serving Counter Culture Coffee, artisanal pastries and light bites, has opened in Washington Heights.
The pop-up will be the future site of a food hall and event space being developed by Sugar Hill Capital Partners in the ground floor space of 4300 Broadway at 183rd Street. The 6,500 s/f food hall and event space is anticipated to open in summer 2017
Accessible via the sidewalk, Filtered will occupy 1,500 s/f of the future food hall space. The café offers free wifi and a variety of seating options. Filtered is anticipated to remain at 4300 Broadway for approximately six months.
Filtered Coffee will operate while work is being completed behind the scenes on the remaining space. Designed by NADA, the food hall is seeking artisanal vendors to occupy kiosks in the space with one larger anchor tenant.
Filtered currently has two other locations: 2430 Third Avenue in the South Bronx and 1616 Amsterdam Avenue in Hamilton Heights.
