Independent chain McNally Jackson is opening up another outpost of its popular bookstores, this time in Greenwich Village.
McNally Jackson Goods For The Study leased a retail space at 50 W. 8th Street earlier this month, Real Estate Weekly has learned.  The bookstore signed a leased September 1st for the 1,400 s/f retail space at 50 West 8th Street in Greenwich Village. The space also includes a 325 s/f basement. Asking rent for the space was $17,500 per month.
McNally Jackson was represented by Frank Reiser of Tungsten Property, while the landlord was represented by William Abramson and Matthew Olden of Buchbinder & Warren Realty Group, LLC.
Sarah McNally’s eponymous New York bookstores include McNally Jackson Books, on Prince Street, and McNally Jackson Picture Room and McNally Jackson Goods for the Study on Mulberry Street.
McNally Jackson Books originally opened in 2004 on Prince Street in SoHo and has become a cult favorite among New Yorkers, focusing on local artists and writers.
